I'm so conflicted on this new version of Drowned VI: Mother Cetacean. I really think the overall mix better than in 2017 EP, but taking out the samples of the woman speaking French (I think?) dramatically hurts the atmosphere of the song. I think they are both good versions of the song but unfortunately I think the removal of the woman takes away more than the new mix adds. On the positive side I'm really happy for the new song, Drowned VII is easily better than either version of Drowned VI.
